Miele splitter box model 057B replacement now available

The EasySplit 220™ #31 is a Miele Easy Installation Kit model 057B replacement. It allows you to share your 3-prong Dryer outlet with two appliances equipped with 14-30 plugs. Allows both to share the 30 amp Dryer outlet, no more swapping plugs wearing out your Dryer outlet! Older Miele Washer and Dryers were 240volt appliances and came equipped with 30amp plugs but the appliance was only rated at 15amps. If you were not able to install TWO 240v 15amp circuits the Miele Easy Installation Kit model 057B allowed you to plug in a Miele Washer and Dryer into a single American 3-prong 240volt 30amp outlet (NEMA 10-30). It is essentially a 30amp splitter and allows both appliances to run at the same time as they were only rated at 15amps each. (verify amps on your appliance's nameplate).

In addition the EasySplit 220™ #31 adds a beautiful 4 color meter that the original Miele unit didn't have allowing you to view line voltage, amperage draw, wattage draw and kilowatt hours consumed in real time. The meter helps you keep an eye on amperage draw and stay within the 30amp budget. The outlets are mounted on the sides for a more compact profile with the EasySplit 220™ standing just 4" from the wall.
